Mrs. Cassie R. Eckert, 47, died late Thursday in a hospital following a lingering illness. 
A lifelong resident of Sioux City, she was born here Oct. 20, 1893. She was a member 
of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Surviving are the widower, Walter; a daughter, Mrs. 
Dallas Schultz of Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Glenn of Ontario, Calif.; and 
Mrs. C. C. Thilo of Sioux City; a brother John Burgess of Sioux City, and two 
grandchildren. The body was taken to Perasso Bros. funeral home.
