HAYES CALDWELL Hayes Caldwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Caldwell, residing 6 miles southeast of Shelbina, died Sunday morning at 6 o'clock from burns sustained last Friday afternoon. The engine house was burned to the ground. Mr. Caldwell was 26 years old and was an only son. His father, mother and one sister, Miss Mary, survive him. Funeral services were conducted at the home yesterday at 10 A.M., after which the remains were taken to Shelbina for burial. Those from this city who attended the funeral are Dr. William Carson, L. E. Carson, A. M. Priest and Mr. and Mrs. Julius Ritter, Jr.
