MRS. IDA MAY CALDWELL Clarence Courier, January 21, 1971 Mrs. Ida May Caldwell, 92, of Shelbina, died at 4 P.M. Monday, January 18, 1971, at Levering Hospital, Hannibal, where she had been admitted earlier in the day. She was born April 26, 1878, in the Greenwood community, south of Shelbina, a daughter of John Gregory and Sarah Jane Sparks Buckman. She was first married to John William Wilt on December 18, 1901, who preceded her in 1920. Later she married Elias T. Caldwell, who preceded her on February 23, 1942. Survivors include a grandson, Theodore G. Wilt of rural Shelbina; a great-grandson, Edward T. Wilt; and other relatives including a daughter-in-law, Mrs. William Gregory Wilt of Shelbina. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 20, 1971, at 2 P.M. at the Shelbina Baptist Church. The Rev. Alan Bartlett officiated and burial was in the Shelbina Cemetery. The Hayes Funeral Home, Shelbina, was in charge of the arrangements.
