ISAAC WILSON CALDWELL Shelby County Herald, September 8, 1937 Isaac Wilson Caldwell, Sr., 79 years old, died at his home Tuesday morning in Shelbina after an illness of only an hour. Death was said to have been caused from heart disease. Caldwell came to Shelbina twenty years ago from Monroe county where he operated a large farm for 20 years. He was born in Marion county October 26, 1853. Caldwell was a member of the Baptist church and the I. O. O. F. On January 16, 1880, he married Miss Margaret Adams, who died in Nov, 1933. He was married in August, 1933, to Mrs. Mae Forman, who survives. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Mollie Rhodes, 92, of Fort Worth, Texas, and a half-sister, Mrs. Nannie Threlkeld of Shelbina. Two children, a son and a daughter, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Million and Barkelew Funeral Home in Shelbina with the Rev. O. P. Grobe in charge. Burial was in Shelbina.
