LEONIDAS CALDWELL

Leonidas Caldwell, member of a prominent north Shelby county family, died 
suddenly at his home near Leonard at 7:15 o'clock last Saturday. Apoplexy is 
given as the cause of his death. He was apparently in good health and had 
been in Shelbyville Saturday afternoon. Mr. Caldwell was born at Downing, MO, 
Jan 25, 1865 but he spent practically all of his life in this county. He is survived 
by his wife, three daughters, one sister and three brothers. Funeral services were 
held at the home Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock and were conducted by 
Rev. O. B. Hobbs, of Downing. Burial was in the I. O. O. F. cemetery at Shelbyville.
