BURGESS, PETER E.

Following a lingering sickness, Peter E. Burgess, 71, died Monday in his 
home at 1412 West Second Street. Mr. Burgess was born in Canada in 
1863 and had lived in Sioux City the last 49 years. For 44 years he was 
employed by the city in the sewer department. Surviving Mr. Burgess are 
three daughters, Mrs. Irene Glenn, Mrs. C. C. Thilo and Mrs. W. E. Eckert, 
and a son John Burgess, all of Sioux City, and a sister Mrs. M. Mannion of 
Newcastle. The body is at Perasso Bros. funeral home pending the 
completion of funeral arrangements.
