SCIOTA CULP, 83 DIES FRIDAY MORNING Mrs. Sciota Belle Culp, 83, a resident of Nebraska for 52 years, died at 10:54 o’clock Friday morning at her home, 1540 South Twenty-third street. She came to Nebraska from Pennsylvania in 1886, settling at Cortland. In 1906 she moved to Firth and in 1917, to Lincoln. She was a member of First Plymouth Congregational church. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. A. M. Clark, Mrs. Pearl R. Culp, and Mrs. Florence Hoon, all of Lincoln; Mrs. C. O. Martin of Firth, and Mrs. Earl Burrows of Johnstown, Pa; two sons, William J. of Lincoln and Fred S. of Los Angeles; 3 sisters, Mrs. Emma James of Enid, Okla; Mrs. Josephine Campbell of Muncie, Ia; and Mrs. Ruth Maddux of Mt. Sterling Ohio; 3 brothers, John, Sherman and Collins Maddux all of Mt. Sterling: 19 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren. The body is at Wadlow’s.
